Senior Manager, Capacity and Performance Engineering

What you'll do

• Build and maintain detailed capacity models for AV compute stack components.
• Lead cross-team initiatives to reduce compute waste without slowing engineering velocity.
• Operate performance lab to deliver actionable benchmarks on infrastructure efficiency.
• Own strategic vendor relationships, enforcing SLOs and negotiating supply terms.
• Advise senior leadership on infrastructure tradeoffs and program risk implications.

What we're looking for

• Experience leading technical teams in cloud infrastructure or ML/AI systems.
• Deep understanding of GPU compute and cloud economics for large-scale AI programs.
• Proven ability to develop capacity planning as an organizational capability.
• Track record of driving measurable savings through infrastructure efficiency programs.
• Strong cross-functional influence without direct authority across engineering, finance, procurement.
• Clear communication skills at executive levels for strategy documents and budget briefings.
