What you'll do

  • Develop and implement machine vision for automation systems, quality inspection, and defect detection.
  • Specify, procure, validate, and sustain vision system components including cameras, lenses, lighting, controllers, and software.
  • Oversee the installation, validation, and commissioning of vision systems in production environments across multiple product lines.
  • Lead efforts into Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) on vision systems and process failures.
  • Train production staff on the operation and maintenance of vision systems.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.
  • 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining vision systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Expertise in vision system platforms (Cognex, Keyence) and programming languages (Python, C++, OpenCV).
  • Strong understanding of image processing algorithms, optics, and lighting principles.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial automation systems including PLC/robot integration.
