Senior Lead Software Engineer, Infrastructure Platforms

What you'll do

• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams, contractors, and external vendors.
• Drive the adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Establish measurable validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.
• Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations through key decision-making.
• Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in specific technical areas of focus.
• Advocate for firmwide frameworks, tools, and Software Development Life Cycle practices within the engineering community.
• Apply cloud-native experience and knowledge of automation tools to improve value at scale.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security.
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
• Practical cloud native experience.
• Experience in Infrastructure Architecture designs, Kubernetes, CNI, CSI, CRI, and Containers (preferred).
