Your day-to-day responsibilities include utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, and Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools to develop modular, resilient, cloud-native solutions for critical business lines including Retail Bank, Small Business Bank, Commercial Bank, and Capital One Shopping. This role demands expertise in cutting-edge technologies and a passion for secure engineering practices on a large scale.
Design and develop full-stack applications using Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL.
Implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS tools and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Build modular and resilient systems integrating RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
Ensure secure engineering practices across all stages of development and deployment.
Collaborate on common capabilities to support multiple lines of business within the bank.
What we're looking for
9+ years of experience in at least one major programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, or Go)
Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages and database technologies
Experience with container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes
Utilization of AWS tools and services for cloud-based solutions
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree required
