You will solve complex problems involving distributed systems, smart contracts using Hardhat, and blockchain interoperability within the financial markets domain.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement microservices architectures using industry-standard technologies and frameworks.
  • Develop blockchain solutions and decentralized applications on private and public networks using verified cryptographic protocols.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of microservices to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain application stability across multiple systems.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to foster continuous improvement.
  • Implement rigorous monitoring and testing practices to ensure security and performance for blockchain infrastructure.
  • Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
  • Advocate for firmwide frameworks, tools, and best practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for distributed systems.
  • Practical experience developing on blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming with experience in Solidity, Java, JavaScript, or Python for backend API and microservices.
  • Understanding of cryptographic principles including encryption algorithms, key management, and key wallets.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and ensuring responsible AI practices.
  • Experience in Financial Markets (preferred).
  • Experience designing and writing smart contracts with Solidity using Hardhat, Truffle, Slither scanning, etc. (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, EKS, Docker (preferred).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (preferred).
  • Familiarity with blockchain interoperability solutions (preferred).
  • Experience with RDBMS (preferred).
