What you'll do

Design, build, and optimize AI Foundation Services infrastructure for GenAI and traditional ML platforms.
Develop reusable integration capabilities, reference implementations, and onboarding assets for application teams.
Translate business requirements into technical designs, implementation plans, and engineering deliverables.
Ensure platform reliability by managing non-functional requirements, test plans, observability, and production readiness.
Create deployment templates, test harnesses, and baselines for model hosting platforms.
Drive the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Implement durable, maintainable code solutions that can be reused by multiple application teams.
Resolve complex technical issues through collaboration with product, security, and infrastructure teams.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
5+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
Experience designing, building, testing, and operating production software systems, distributed services, or platform capabilities.
Practical experience with AI/ML platform capabilities, model serving, hosting, and infrastructure supporting AI/ML workloads.
Experience developing cloud-native applications using Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go to deliver high-quality production code.
Working knowledge of performance engineering and production reliability practices including load testing, monitoring, and incident response.
Experience applying secure-by-design engineering practices and managing AI-assisted software development tools.
