What you'll do

  • Manage and lead a team of high-performing talent to deliver on Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) goals.
  • Execute the full TPRM lifecycle, including onboarding, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring of third parties.
  • Develop and maintain program policies, procedures, and documentation in alignment with regulatory changes and risk appetite.
  • Conduct organizational research and perform due diligence for all new and existing third-party relationships.
  • Perform control testing and provide training and awareness communications regarding third-party risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Legal, Security, and Compliance to design plans that mitigate third-party risks.
  • Develop and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for the TPRM program.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management processes.

What we're looking for

  • Candidates must possess eligibility to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is typically required.
  • At least 10 years of direct or related third-party risk management experience is required.
  • At least 5 years of financial institution experience in third-party risk management is required.
  • Experience in data gathering, analysis, and problem-solving to communicate complex information to stakeholders is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in operational, data protection, or information security risk with knowledge of third-party regulatory requirements is required.
  • Professional third-party certifications such as CRVM or CTPRP are preferred.
  • Information security certifications like CISM, CISSP, or CISA and experience with GRC tools or specific compliance regulations (ISO, GLBA, FFIEC, NIST) are preferred.
