Ideal candidates possess strong SQL skills, experience with ETL tools, APIs, and CI/CD practices, as well as a background in developing custom Java services and REST APIs on AWS. This role requires hands-on expertise in data analytics, AI/ML solutions, and integration middleware tools like Snaplogic, all within the context of Caterpillar’s large-scale enterprise systems.

What you'll do

  • Define problem statements and translate business requirements into technical requirements for IT solutions.
  • Drive design, development, validation, and deployment of applications using Azure DevOps and ETL tools.
  • Apply Snowflake data analysis and Power BI skills to gather requirements and solve business problems.
  • Recommend solution options (build/buy/enhance) based on business and technical requirements.
  • Support end-to-end application delivery including configuration, automated testing, CI/CD deployments, and defect resolution.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Experience building and supporting cloud solutions (AWS preferred)
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills with Snowflake and Power BI
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Hands-on familiarity with AWS services for custom applications and CI/CD practices
  • Developed and supported custom Java services and REST APIs on AWS
  • Experience implementing AI/ML solutions using data science tools
