Senior Information System Security Officer The Senior Information System Security Officer joins the Cyber & Analytics Business Area to support a large software development program involving maintenance, systems integration, and network engineering. What you'll do

Implement and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for processing multiple types of information.
Manage configuration for security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware across the network.
Analyze threats and implement best practices for incident detection, reporting, and vulnerability remediation.
Maintain records and perform updates for workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, and other networking hardware.
Develop and maintain documentation for Certification & Accreditation and System Security Plans (SSP).
Manage Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) including scanning, patching, and remediation.
Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms for the information system.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
At least 12 years of relevant experience.
At least 10 years of experience as an ISSO maintaining secure information system operations.
At least 5 years of experience using tools to support IAVA management.
At least 5 years of experience using tools for the preparation and management of SSPs and other security documentation.
In-depth experience evaluating software systems or architectures to ensure they meet security requirements.
DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level II or higher, and IAM Level II or higher.
