Senior Hardware Engineer - Propulsion Controller

What you'll do

• Design propulsion controller electrical hardware from concept to production launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and product quality.
• Lead design verification test, environmental testing, and EMC validation processes.
• Develop requirements and maintain validation support equipment for hardware systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve design problems.
• Support manufacturing partners in resolving production-related issues during mass production.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in electronic hardware design with a focus on propulsion controller hardware
• Proven track record of successfully launching ECU designs into production
• Strong proficiency in circuit design, schematic creation, PCB layout, and power management
• Experience using design tools like Mentor Graphics, Ansys, Simplis, Altair, PSpice & Saber
• In-depth knowledge of automotive industry standards (ISO 26262, ASIL) and safety-critical design principles
