Senior Fullstack Engineer, Mortgage Fulfillment AI

What you'll do

• Design and build multi-step AI agents to automate mortgage workflows like document collection and condition clearing.
• Build evaluation frameworks to measure agent reliability, accuracy, and task completion in a regulated environment.
• Architect and operate core agent infrastructure including model serving, prompt pipelines, batching, and queueing.
• Develop robust integrations with third-party platforms like Encompass and DocuTech to read state and write actions.
• Ensure system reliability through idempotency, retries, graceful degradation, and structured logging.
• Define engineering best practices for testing, measurement, observability, and incident response.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews and technical design discussions.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating scalable, reliable services in a modern cloud environment.
• Proven experience owning an AI or ML system in production from end to end, including design, shipping, measuring, and iterating.
• Hands-on experience in at least two of the following: running eval pipelines, operating LLM/ML model serving, or building third-party platform integrations.
• Strong infrastructure instincts and AI fluency to handle timeouts, race conditions, and retry storms in production.
• Ability to define correctness metrics and build tooling to measure and improve system signals.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a track record of going deep in a specialized domain.
• Drive to learn mortgage rules like TRID and RESPA quickly.
