What you'll do

Manage the architecture, performance, reliability, and strategic direction of the jackhenry.dev portal.
Design and evolve a scalable developer portal for external developers consuming Jack Henry APIs.
Implement new portal capabilities, developer tools, workflows, and integrations to improve engagement.
Improve developer onboarding, API discoverability, self-service functionality, and documentation experiences.
Monitor platform health and usage metrics to identify opportunities for optimization based on feedback.
Ensure the platform meets enterprise requirements for security, authentication, authorization, and compliance.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering.
Minimum of 3 years in full-stack software development.
Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
Hands-on use of AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (preferred).
Ability to organize and structure complex technical content (preferred).
Experience building or supporting developer-facing products, portals, API platforms, or documentation systems (preferred).
Experience improving or developing technical documentation for engineers or developers (preferred).
