What you'll do

  • Design and develop scalable, server-side enterprise applications and domain logic intensive RESTful APIs.
  • Build and deploy 12-factor, containerized APIs using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS and Azure.
  • Develop software utilizing .NET and Java stacks with a focus on microservices and domain-driven design.
  • Debug legacy systems to capture current state and facilitate the re-platforming of large applications.
  • Manage relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase for high-volume transactional systems.
  • Implement test automation for unit, functional, and non-functional testing using tools like Cucumber.
  • Publish clear and thorough design documentation for architecture, design, and code reviews.
  • Provide technical support for software releases into production environments.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related technology discipline.
  • 5 plus years of software development experience on business critical, enterprise-wide applications.
  • Expertise in building scalable, server-side enterprise applications and domain logic intensive RESTful APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET coding practices for mid-tier applications performing business logic and calculations.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.
  • Experience developing cloud neutral applications in AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or Sybase) and CICD using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
  • Experience building technology solutions in the financial services industry (preferred).
