As a Senior Full-Stack Cloud Native Developer (OTC Team), Assistant Vice President, you will enhance and maintain the Enhanced OTC Module by building modern JavaScript front ends and Java-based backends deployed on Azure Cloud. You will work under minimal supervision to design, develop, test, and debug medium- to large-scale software enhancements while providing architectural input and technical leadership. Your daily responsibilities include collaborating with product managers to translate requirements into scalable solutions, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and participating in Agile processes. The role requires proficiency in Java, C#, SQL, React, and related technologies, with beneficial exposure to Kubernetes and Kafka. You will solve complex problems within the OTC derivatives domain, specifically addressing technical challenges in areas such as Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance, Post-Trade, IBOR, or Wealth Management using object-oriented programming and relational databases.

What you'll do

Design, develop, test, and debug medium- to large-scale software enhancements for the Enhanced OTC Module.
Build and maintain modern JavaScript front ends using React or Angular.
Develop and implement backend solutions using Java, C#, and SQL on Azure Cloud.
Translate complex business requirements into scalable, sustainable technical solutions.
Provide architectural input and technical leadership within the team's scope.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical guidance to other engineers.
Build and maintain automated testing frameworks while performing manual testing for release quality.
Create design documentation, API specifications, and customer-facing technical documentation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field required.
Master's degree (preferred).
8–10 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally within financial services.
Experience developing enterprise-grade software on major cloud providers like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Strong background in Java development and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
Knowledge of object-oriented programming, relational databases, scripting languages, and modern software engineering paradigms.
4–7 years developing solutions in Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance, Post-Trade, IBOR, or Wealth Management (preferred).
Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, OTC derivatives, and Agile development methodologies (preferred).
