What we're looking for
- BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in Go, Python, Ruby, Java, or C++.
- Proficiency in modern web technologies including JavaScript, React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, gRPC, and Thrift to design and implement maintainable APIs.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to deliver projects on schedule.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating in a remote environment with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Deep product thinking and experience bridging technical streaming metrics with user-facing features (preferred).
- Familiarity with HLS, MPEG-DASH, MP4, video compression standards, and background data fetching (preferred).
