Senior Forward Deploy Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop full-stack features using React and Java to resolve customer requirements and product gaps.
• Translate ambiguous customer requests into clear technical strategies and actionable engineering plans.
• Design and deliver integrations that connect SentinelOne products into diverse customer environments.
• Contribute code and fixes to the core platform to ensure long-term scalability and functionality.
• Create technical documentation, including runbooks and executive-level communications, to enable customer independence.
• Architect end-to-end solutions for complex problems while documenting trade-offs and implementation details.
• Perform code reviews to ensure high standards of quality, security, and efficiency across multiple codebases.
• Respond to and resolve technical escalations from both internal teams and external customers.

What we're looking for

• Solid computer science background with 4+ years of engineering experience in both backend and frontend development.
• Proven expertise designing and operating distributed systems or data-intensive services.
• Track record of leading substantial pieces of work end-to-end under ambiguity with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working directly with customers or senior stakeholders to shape technical solutions.
• Deep proficiency in at least one production language, with 3+ years of Java experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in modern technologies including React, TypeScript, Kafka, Redis, GraphQL, and Node.js.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements for non-technical audiences like customers and executives.
• Experience in the cybersecurity domain is strongly preferred.
