As a Sr. Financial Analyst in Pacific Life’s Reinsurance Operations team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to support evolving financial reinsurance initiatives and provide analytical and technical support for all reinsurance financial activities. Your daily tasks include performing financial evaluations, preparing quarterly financial information, handling bank reconciliations, and driving process improvements. You will work closely with a team of 5 professionals in the Enterprise Reinsurance Department, using Alteryx, Snowflake, Python, and Power Automate to automate processes and enhance efficiency. Strong SQL skills and proficiency in data mining are essential, along with the ability to document processes clearly and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners. This role involves working on complex financial datasets and contributing to strategic objectives that mitigate risk and identify opportunities leveraging technology.

What you'll do
