Senior Engineering Manager, Infrastructure Security Engineering

What you'll do

• Manage, coach, and develop a distributed team of senior security and infrastructure engineers.
• Own the hiring, growth, and performance management of the engineering team.
• Set the technical direction for the security control plane and foundational security services.
• Lead a planning rhythm focused on delivering measurable risk elimination rather than closing tickets.
• Assemble and dissolve small, task-oriented teams to deliver specific engineering outcomes.
• Enforce high engineering standards for tested code, observability, operational readiness, and documentation.
• Translate complex risk pictures into actionable themes and trade-offs for executive leadership.
• Build horizontal partnerships with platform, SRE, and networking teams to ensure project delivery.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience managing engineers.
• 14+ years of experience across software engineering, SRE, infrastructure, or security.
• Hands-on depth in infrastructure, distributed systems, or security engineering to earn the trust of senior engineers.
• Working understanding of cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, identity and access, policy enforcement, and vulnerability management.
• Experience delivering through partner teams in environments where relationships determine whether work ships.
• Experience running teams that secure or operate HPC environments, large GPU fleets, or multi-tenant platforms at cloud scale (preferred).
• Experience delivering security or infrastructure capabilities with real adoption metrics (preferred).
