What you'll do

Manage a team developing platform software based on open-source container runtimes and Kubernetes.
Enable GPUs as first-class resources in Kubernetes, Kata Containers, and Confidential Containers.
Develop innovative ways to simplify the development, deployment, and monitoring of GPU-accelerated applications.
Ensure software integrates seamlessly across the entire technology stack with other engineering teams.
Oversee the design and development of distributed systems and cloud-native technologies.
Multitask across different tracks to address evolving priorities and technical challenges.
Maintain high standards for performance, security, and reliability in complex distributed systems.

What we're looking for

BS/MS in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience.
At least 5 years of experience dedicated to managing high-performing engineering teams.
Strong understanding of Container Orchestration Systems (K8s) and Container Technology.
Working knowledge of systems programming languages such as Rust and Go, with a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
Knowledge and experience with system internals of Unix/Unix-like kernels such as Linux.
Strong background in Cloud Computing and Distributed Software design and development.
Understanding of performance, security, and reliability in complex distributed systems.
