Senior Engineering Manager, Applied AI & Agentic Commerce Intelligence

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end product architecture for the AI intelligence layer and its corresponding user-facing interfaces across iOS and web platforms.
• Translate complex AI strategies into scalable, reusable capabilities that function consistently across multiple global markets and languages.
• Manage a multidisciplinary organization of engineers and scientists spanning applied ML, data science, and frontend/iOS development.
• Define and enforce high standards for AI correctness, safety, auditability, and consistent quality across all products.
• Translate ambiguous business priorities into clear technical roadmaps and narratives for senior leadership consumption.
• Monitor state-of-the-art advancements in agentic AI and LLM reasoning to implement production-ready designs.
• Mentor and develop a team of engineering managers and senior individual contributors to operate at system scale.
• Streamline internal processes and tooling to maintain startup-level speed within a large corporate structure.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 12+ years of experience in applied machine learning, decision systems, or large-scale AI systems.
• 5+ years managing high-performing technical teams, including experience managing other managers across ML and product engineering.
• Proven track record leading an AI-powered product from concept to launch at a global scale of over one billion users.
• Hands-on experience shipping ML-powered products or features involving LLMs and AI agents capable of planning and tool use.
• Demonstrated experience presenting technical strategy and trade-offs directly to senior executive leadership.
• Experience operating in high-ambiguity, low-guidance environments while defining plans rather than just executing them.
• Experience managing or partnering with native mobile (iOS) and web/frontend engineering teams to deliver polished user experiences.
