What you'll do

Architect and build fault-tolerant, high-availability microservices for mission-critical payment transaction processing.
Integrate AI/ML models to enable predictive scaling, real-time anomaly detection, and automated self-healing systems.
Develop high-throughput, event-driven data pipelines using Apache Kafka for real-time payment processing.
Translate complex business requirements and industry standards like ISO 20022 into scalable technical solutions.
Ensure all platform designs comply with payment regulations including PCI-DSS, AML, and KYC requirements.
Act as a technical advisor and coach to developers and analysts while managing large-scale projects.
Define application methodologies for program analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define system specifications and influence technical outcomes.

What we're looking for

10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise-grade payments or financial transaction processing systems.
Subject matter expertise in Java technologies, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and reactive programming frameworks for payment platforms.
Proficiency in Java and Python for designing and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
Experience building resilient microservices using patterns like circuit breakers, bulkheads, and active-active replication.
Experience with event-driven architectures and message-based systems such as Apache Kafka.
Working knowledge of payment rails, messaging standards (ISO 20022, SWIFT, ACH, RTP), and the payments processing lifecycle.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools, relational/NoSQL databases, and monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
