As a Senior Engineer, Operations Improvement Application Solutions, you will join the Operations Improvement Applications Solutions team to advance manufacturing operations through data-driven insights and automation. You will design and manage advanced web solutions, analytics reporting frameworks, and automation tools for production planning, scheduling, and line management to improve cycle time and factory efficiency. The role involves leading cross-functional projects to resolve complex operational challenges and optimize fab performance. You will utilize a technical stack including SQL, TypeScript, and additional languages such as Snowflake, Python, Perl, VBA, or JavaScript. Experience with Angular and cloud-native platforms like OpenShift is required. Your work focuses on the semiconductor manufacturing domain, specifically addressing production planning, inventory management, capacity planning, and Automated Material Handling Systems to reduce variability and eliminate waste within the manufacturing process.
Build and improve scheduling automation, manufacturing decision-support reporting, and line management analytics.
Design and manage web-based tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions for production operations.
Lead cross-functional projects focused on cycle time reduction, production planning, and operational efficiency.
Analyze manufacturing data to identify optimization opportunities and implement data-driven solutions.
Develop automated solutions to reduce variability and eliminate waste in the manufacturing process.
Test software releases and share proven methods with international teams to resolve technical issues.
Deploy innovative methods to improve factory efficiency and customer outcomes.
What we're looking for
Master's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, or a related field required.
2-5 years of experience in an engineering role performing web development and project management required.
Proficiency in SQL and TypeScript is required.
Proficiency in at least one additional programming language such as Snowflake, Python, Perl, VBA, or JavaScript required.
Experience leading data-focused projects that drive fab optimization with quantifiable business results required.
Experience developing responsive web applications using Angular and cloud-native platforms like OpenShift coupled with manufacturing science knowledge required.
2+ years of experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations, production scheduling, line management, or AMHS (preferred).
Experience with AI agents or AI-assisted analytics to enhance productivity and data interpretation (preferred).
