The Senior Engineer, Operations Improvement Application Solutions joins the Operations Improvement Applications Solutions team to advance manufacturing operations through data-driven insights and automation. In this role, you will design and manage web-based tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to optimize production planning, scheduling, and line management. You will build scheduling automation and analytics to improve cycle time and factory efficiency while leading cross-functional projects to resolve complex operational challenges. Required technical skills include proficiency in SQL and TypeScript, along with experience in languages like Snowflake, Python, Perl, VBA, or JavaScript. You will develop responsive web applications using Angular and cloud-native platforms like OpenShift. The work involves applying manufacturing science knowledge, including inventory management and capacity planning, to reduce variability and eliminate waste within semiconductor manufacturing environments.
Build and improve scheduling automation, manufacturing decision-support reporting, and line management analytics.
Design, build, and manage applications, dashboards, and web-based tools to support production operations.
Lead cross-functional improvement projects focused on cycle time reduction and production planning.
Analyze manufacturing data to identify optimization opportunities and implement solutions that reduce waste.
Test software releases and share proven methods with international teams to resolve operational issues.
Develop responsive web applications using Angular and cloud-native platforms like OpenShift.

What we're looking for
Master's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, or a related field required.
2-5 years in an engineering-related role performing web development and project management required.
Proficiency in SQL and TypeScript required with at least one additional language such as Snowflake, Python, Perl, VBA, or JavaScript required.
Demonstrated experience organizing and leading data-focused projects that drive fab optimization with quantifiable business results required.
Experience developing responsive web applications using Angular and cloud-native platforms such as OpenShift required.
Manufacturing science knowledge including scheduling, inventory management, and capacity planning required.
2+ years experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations, production scheduling, line management, or Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) (preferred).
Experience developing advanced web-based reporting, analytics platforms, and process automation solutions (preferred).
