JOB TITLE: Senior Embedded Software Engineer - AV Platform The Autonomous Vehicles Platform Team is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to develop and bring NVIDIA's automotive platform to market. What you'll do

Design, develop, and bring up next-generation autonomous vehicle hardware platforms and sensors.
Integrate various vehicle subsystems into the autonomous driving DRIVE SW platform.
Debug and resolve in-vehicle system issues to ensure correct hardware and software integration.
Engage directly with customer teams to customize, integrate, and productize DRIVE platforms.
Drive software platform reliability for RADAR, LiDAR, and Camera sensor processing and fusion.
Analyze and resolve complex technical issues across software and hardware domains independently.
Develop software within environments involving Hypervisor, Linux, and QNX RTOS.

What we're looking for

BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of relevant experience in software design and development.
Excellent C/C++/Python programming skills.
Experience with embedded systems involving Linux/RTOS and bring-up/debugging of ARM-based SoC target hardware boards.
Strong debugging skills from application to kernel level across software and hardware domains.
Master of software debugging tools, including software debuggers, analyzers, and trace loggers.
Device driver knowledge is a major plus.
Prior experience with Autonomous Vehicles, Robotic systems, CAN bus, Radar, or Lidar is a plus.
