What you'll do

  • Plan, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software projects.
  • Design multi-worker systems robust to hardware failures and upgrade outages.
  • Build infrastructure-as-code solutions for automated, on-target testing of medical devices.
  • Develop and collect metrics on infrastructure impact regarding developer velocity, reliability, and cost.
  • Document testing infrastructure and prepare run books for troubleshooting common problems.
  • Evaluate new technology alternatives and provide training and documentation for CI/CD initiatives.
  • Lead projects by developing schedules and managing budgets for physical infrastructure and software licensing.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA and other global regulatory requirements for medical device development.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of experience in Engineering, Master’s with 7+ years, or Doctorate with 2+ years of experience.
  • Expert knowledge in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket CI, and GitHub Actions.
  • Expert knowledge in scripting languages for Windows 11 and Linux cloud containers, such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Experience with embedded software test infrastructure or Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.
  • Experience with software development life cycle processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of communications design and test using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, and TCP/IP (preferred).
  • Experience with safety critical software, embedded languages, and medical device regulations (preferred).
