Senior Design Manager, Design Systems

What you'll do

• Define the strategic direction and roadmap for the DRUIDS design system.
• Manage and coach a team of designers and design engineers to grow the department.
• Enforce high standards for craft, quality, and consistency across all components and patterns.
• Own the tooling and workflows that enable designers to work effectively within the code.
• Determine which features and formats the design system should support beyond basic components.
• Establish working models and touchpoints to support product teams in their daily workflows.
• Evaluate how design quality is measured by both human users and automated agents.

What we're looking for

• You have 8+ years of experience in product design.
• You have experience in management.
• You have managed and grown a design system team.
• You can read and write front-end code and engage in technical conversations about it.
• You are a clear communicator who can build relationships with fellow leaders and influence them.
• You have experience developing reports and managing underperforming employees.
• You possess a strong point of view on design quality and system direction.
