Senior Data Privacy & Governance Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and develop tools for data security, privacy, and governance in distributed cloud environments.
• Collaborate on the creation of next-generation automated data governance systems with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and secure data usage across organizational platforms.
• Embed privacy-by-design principles into data infrastructure through collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
• Build scalable services on public cloud infrastructures like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Construct proactive alerting mechanisms to monitor and enforce adherence to internal standards and external regulations.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (4+ years) building scalable services on public cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proven track record (3+ years) of collaborating across engineering, product, legal, and compliance teams to embed privacy-by-design principles.
• Solid background in creating data lineage tracking systems and proactive alerting mechanisms for regulatory compliance.
• Expertise in ensuring secure data usage and integrity within distributed data environments.
• Strong proficiency in building automated governance mechanisms into data infrastructure.
