- Lead technical design of privacy-first data models and analytics-ready datasets with Python, Scala, Java.
- Engineer robust observability, monitoring, and automated recovery systems for production environments.
- Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into scalable engineering specifications.
- Champion modern engineering practices including CI/CD, rigorous testing, and AI-augmented workflows.
- Contribute to large-scale quantitative analysis projects through all phases from requirements gathering to data visualization.
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of experience architecting and operating large-scale distributed data systems
- Expert in Scala or Java programming with proficiency in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Spark/Flink, Kafka, Airflow, Iceberg, Trino, Cassandra, and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse design principles
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives
- Experience with privacy-enhancing technologies like differential privacy or federated learning
