The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will design, implement, and support enterprise Identity Security solutions within a complex healthcare environment. This role focuses on secure identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, access governance, and compliance for both enterprise and clinical applications. The engineer will build and maintain JML processes, provisioning, RBAC, SSO, MFA, and federation capabilities. Key responsibilities include integrating applications using SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM, and REST APIs while applying Zero Trust principles. The position requires hands-on expertise with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, Okta, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID. The engineer must troubleshoot complex directory and authentication issues while ensuring the protection of sensitive healthcare information in accordance with HIPAA regulatory requirements and audit standards.
Engineer and support identity security solutions using SailPoint ISC, Okta, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
Design and implement JML processes, RBAC, SSO, MFA, and entitlement governance capabilities.
Integrate enterprise and clinical applications using SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM, and REST APIs.
Apply least privilege and Zero Trust principles across workforce, partner, vendor, and application identities.
Automate identity processes to improve the reliability, scalability, and auditability of access controls.
Troubleshoot complex provisioning, directory, authentication, and access issues across interconnected platforms.
Support regulatory and audit requirements, including HIPAA controls and the protection of sensitive healthcare information.
Provide senior-level technical leadership, engineering standards, design reviews, and mentoring.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong experience in Identity Security, IAM, or cybersecurity engineering.
Hands-on experience with SailPoint ISC, Okta, Active Directory, and/or Entra ID.
Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, access governance, RBAC, SSO, MFA, and federation.
Experience with SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM, APIs, and directory technologies.
Experience integrating applications into enterprise Identity Security ecosystems.
Strong automation, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving skills.
Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries (preferred); experience securing clinical and healthcare applications (highly desirable).
