As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst at Adyen in Chicago, you will join a dynamic global team responsible for evaluating and managing credit risk across the company’s expanding financial products such as Adyen Capital, Charge Cards, and Overdraft facilities. Your daily responsibilities include performing deep-dive credit assessments, driving the continuous improvement of underwriting frameworks, and collaborating with Product and Engineering to advance automated underwriting processes using AI-driven technologies. You will also develop governance frameworks aligned with U.S. regulatory guidelines and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust risk management practices are in place for new product developments. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial credit underwriting, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with U.S. banking regulations.
Perform deep-dive credit assessments and portfolio monitoring for various financial products.

What we're looking for
Minimum 5+ years of commercial credit underwriting and portfolio management experience in fintech or banking.
Expertise in interpreting audited financial statements and determining capital capacity for complex deals.
Strong familiarity with U.S. regulatory frameworks related to commercial credit risk, such as OCC guidelines.
Ability to drive continuous improvement of automated underwriting systems and integrate AI-driven processes.
