What you'll do

Design, implement, and maintain software, APIs, and automation for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code components and workflows to ensure consistent changes across environments.
Integrate with cloud APIs and internal services while handling authentication, retries, and partial failures.
Build validation and delivery pipelines to support controlled infrastructure changes and recovery processes.
Add monitoring, logging, and diagnostic capabilities to ensure infrastructure tooling remains reliable and supportable.
Investigate automation failures and implement improvements to prevent recurring infrastructure problems.
Translate engineering requirements into technical designs and usable tooling while communicating tradeoffs and risks.
Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation, runbooks, and examples for other teams.

What we're looking for

6 to 10+ years of experience.
Experience developing, testing, and maintaining software in at least one programming language such as Python or Java.
Practical experience with infrastructure as code, including managing dependencies, state, and diagnosing deployment failures.
Experience provisioning or managing infrastructure in a cloud environment including compute, networking, storage, and identity controls.
Experience integrating with APIs and handling failures in services or automation that depend on external systems.
Experience with source control, code review, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery workflows.
Ability to troubleshoot problems across Linux, networking, storage, cloud APIs, and application code using logs and metrics.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
