What you'll do

Develop and validate computer vision systems for various spacecraft in different orbital regimes.
Design flight software, algorithms, and simulation products for space vehicle autonomy tools.
Create test plans and procedures to verify CV system functionality during ground checkout and on-orbit operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sensors, GNC, Avionics, Systems, Flight Software, Mission Operations, and Ground Software.
Implement and validate computer vision algorithms for spacecraft navigation and dynamic space operations.
Ensure successful CV operations of Anduril’s fleet of space vehicles through rigorous testing and analysis.

What we're looking for

MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Robotics, Computer Science, or Image Science with emphasis on Computer Vision.
Advanced experience developing and benchmarking ML algorithms on large-scale datasets.
Experience in object detection, tracking, instance segmentation, semantic change detection, and natural feature tracking.
Knowledge of visual odometry, SLAM, multi-view geometry, 3D reconstruction, and sensor fusion techniques.
Familiarity with terminal guidance, rendezvous proximity operations, docking, orbital mechanics, and spacecraft GNC systems.
Top Secret security clearance required.
