Join our dynamic team in Costa Mesa as a Computer Vision Engineer and contribute to the design and implementation of advanced perception subsystems for spacecraft. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Sensors, GNC, Avionics, Systems, Flight Software, Mission Operations, and Ground Software to develop flight software, firmware, algorithms, and simulation products. Your responsibilities include creating test plans and procedures for CV systems during ground checkout, on-orbit commissioning, and operations, while also developing autonomy tools for dynamic space missions in various orbital regimes like LEO, MEO, GEO, Reentry, and RPOD. Required skills encompass a MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Robotics, Computer Science, or Image Science with emphasis on CV, along with experience in ML algorithm development, object detection, tracking, segmentation, SLAM, multi-view geometry, 3D reconstruction, and terminal guidance systems. Familiarity with OpenCV and NFT is preferred.
