JOB TITLE: Senior Cloud Solution Architect Cybersecurity (Identity) - CTJ - Top Secret The Senior Cloud Solution Architect Cybersecurity (Identity) joins the Microsoft Federal team to drive customer transformation on the Microsoft Azure Platform. In this customer-facing role, you will own the technical relationship and strategy, leading end-to-end engagements for architecture, implementation, and production. You will define secure strategies and implement controls for Identity and Access Management, Threat Protection, and Cloud Security. Key responsibilities include performing hands-on activities with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender XDR, Sentinel, and Entra. You must architect solutions following Secure by Design and Well-Architected frameworks to meet regulatory and compliance needs. Required expertise includes Zero Trust principles, identity protocols like SAML and OAuth2, and experience with MFA, RBAC, and privileged identity management within complex hybrid and cloud environments.

What you'll do

Lead end-to-end security value propositions including Zero Trust, Modern SOC, and secure AI adoption.
Define secure strategies and architectures for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security services.
Perform hands-on activities to operationalize native security solutions like Microsoft Defender and Sentinel.
Architect security solutions that meet specific business, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Conduct Architectural Design Sessions to build implementation plans aligned with customer business goals.
Troubleshoot technical issues to validate the effectiveness of implemented Azure and M365 security technologies.
Act as a Voice of the Customer to share insights and influence the product roadmap with engineering teams.
Orchestrate technical resources and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver complex enterprise solutions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development, or architecture.
Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance.
Ability to pass a Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies or 6+ years with a Master's Degree (preferred).
4+ years of experience in customer-facing roles and on technical projects (preferred).
Technical certifications in Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google) or security (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) (preferred).
U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
