What you'll do

Analyze cloud service architecture, cost, and utilization metrics at scale to drive infrastructure efficiency.
Manage hybrid and multi-cloud environments including private clouds, public providers, and AI training clusters.
Translate complex infrastructure data into clear business metrics for executive strategic recommendations.
Use AI to provide proactive, contextual insights that help engineering teams make faster architectural decisions.
Implement FinOps practices to identify cost savings and manage unit economics across cloud platforms.
Optimize Kubernetes resource efficiency through bin packing, autoscaling, and cost-aware scheduling.
Develop data pipelines and taxonomies to ensure accurate cost attribution for large-scale infrastructure.
Monitor infrastructure health and performance using observability and telemetry tools like Datadog or CloudWatch.

What we're looking for

10+ years of experience in an engineering role with a track record of delivering complex initiatives end-to-end.
5+ years of experience designing, operating, and optimizing infrastructure across public and private cloud environments.
Ability to research, architect, and drive complex technical solutions involving multiple technologies, cloud services, and AI systems.
Proficiency in SQL with an understanding of schema design and query optimization.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for pod-based service deployment.
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) including security, cost optimization, and governance in hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with FinOps, cost optimization tools, and building financial models for capacity planning.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
