  • Architect and build backend systems that process crowdsourced sensor data from millions of devices.
  • Design and maintain high-quality, production-grade software systems using Java or Scala.
  • Develop signal processing pipelines and data infrastructure to interpret large-scale sensor streams.
  • Manage the full machine learning lifecycle including problem formulation, feature engineering, and model development.
  • Build robust infrastructure to deploy machine learning models into production environments reliably.
  • Implement complex mathematical and statistical algorithms to solve navigation and emergency response problems.
  • Optimize systems to meet demanding real-world efficiency requirements at a global scale.

What we're looking for

  • Proficiency in Java or equivalent backend languages such as Scala.
  • Strong foundation in object-oriented design, distributed systems, and real-time software architecture.
  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a Bachelor's degree with proven experience architecting production systems at scale.
  • Experience architecting and operating high-scale production backend systems.
  • Experience with crowdsourced, sensor, or telemetry data systems.
