Senior Atlassian System Admin at Cloudflare

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end patching process for Jira Data Center/Server instances to ensure security and performance.
• Develop complex scripts using ScriptRunner (Groovy) to automate business logic and integrate with external APIs.
• Manage global settings in Jira, including workflows, permission schemes, screen schemes, and custom field consolidation.
• Conduct regular health checks, JVM tuning, and re-indexing to monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide Tier 3 support for internal teams, translating business requirements into efficient Jira projects.

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of experience as a Jira Systems Administrator in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Proficient in Groovy scripting and the ScriptRunner plugin for automating complex business logic.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows servers, SQL databases, and SSL/Certificate management.
• Expertise in analyzing log files and thread dumps to troubleshoot system issues.
• Experience with change management processes to ensure high uptime in production environments.
• Ability to manage Jira configurations including workflows, permission schemes, and screen schemes.
• Nice-to-have: Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certifications for Jira Data Center or Cloud.
