What you'll do

  • Create EMI Control Plans, Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports.
  • Perform design and test activities to achieve EMI compliance for military products.
  • Support system and sub-system development through design reviews, partitioning, and cable design.
  • Develop grounding maps, schematic recommendations, and trade studies for EMI mitigation.
  • Investigate and evaluate programs for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3).
  • Participate in the proposal process for programs with specific EMI/EMC requirements.
  • Assist technicians with pre-test setup and calibration measurements.
  • Utilize EMI test software and simulation tools like SPICE or Ansys HFSS.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and minimum 0 to 2 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
  • Experience with TILE! or similar EMI test software.
  • Strong focus on designing for and testing to MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, and RTCA/DO-160 specifications (preferred).
  • Experience with common lab equipment like Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
