Senior Applied AI Engineer, Manufacturing & System Co-Design

What you'll do

• Define manufacturing specification types, schemas, and semantics derived from system requirements and features.
• Own the methodology for structuring, versioning, and validating specifications across the entire program lifecycle.
• Develop production-grade Python pipelines and automated checks to detect specification drift before silicon production.
• Integrate SMAC work into end-to-end program milestones and define TPM-driven attestation for all technical gates.
• Build agent-ready tooling including CLIs, MCPs, and CI gates to integrate AI into rigorous engineering workflows.
• Drive the adoption of SMAC methodologies and tools across Post Silicon, Operations, and DFX teams.
• Design scalable infrastructure that ensures alignment between system specifications and manufacturing test programs.

What we're looking for

• A BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in system software, silicon bring-up, or productization engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and systems skills to develop production-grade services and data pipelines.
• Deep understanding of the spec ecosystem including system POR, guard-bands, manufacturing screen specs, and test insertion constraints.
• Proven track record of cross-org influence by establishing methodologies that others adopt and workflows you redefine.
• Ability to interpret silicon and productization outputs such as speed, power, and binning.
• Experience building LLM-backed tools or integrating AI with judgment into engineering workflows is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to design and ship automation that serves as infrastructure for multiple teams rather than just proof of concepts.
