What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native EHR applications for clinical inbox and messaging workflows.
Build scalable backend services and distributed systems to power critical healthcare processes.
Develop full-stack solutions with a primary focus on backend architecture, performance, and reliability.
Own the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and production support.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root-cause analysis efforts.
Improve system observability, operational readiness, and overall platform performance.
Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding productivity and engineering efficiency.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong experience developing enterprise-scale backend systems using Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, APIs, scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization.
Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications in modern engineering environments.
Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and system architecture.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and modern DevOps practices (preferred).
Experience working in highly regulated environments requiring reliability, security, and compliance (preferred).
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Codex (preferred).
