Senior Application Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Identify security vulnerabilities and articulate their business impact to drive prioritization efforts.
• Perform penetration testing and design reviews to identify insecure designs and product features.
• Develop and maintain internal tools for automated SAST and DAST testing of the platform.
• Secure novel AI implementations by identifying attack vectors in agentic-powered features.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to build secure features and development workflows.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and learning sessions to promote a culture of security excellence.

What we're looking for

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in an Application Security or related role.
• Ability to identify vulnerabilities in complex systems and demonstrate business impact through custom attack chains.
• Experience with secure development activities including threat modeling, developer education, and incident response.
• Knowledge of Python, scripting languages, and AI/agentic workflows for automation and tool building.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills paired with a collaborative mindset.
