Senior Application Delivery & Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Build and manage ASM and Advanced WAF security policies including creation, tuning, and false positive remediation.
• Protect web applications and APIs against OWASP Top 10 threats and malicious bot traffic.
• Analyze ASM event logs and violation data to strengthen protection without disrupting legitimate traffic.
• Design, deploy, and maintain F5 BIG-IP Virtual Edition instances across production and non-production environments.
• Configure LTM virtual servers, pools, monitors, and write iRules for advanced traffic steering.
• Manage BIG-IP DNS (GTM) for wide IPs, data centers, and global load balancing.
• Resolve complex application delivery issues using tcpdump, qkview, and packet-level analysis.
• Onboard new applications behind F5 services and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• Extensive practical experience with F5 LTM, BIG-IP DNS (GTM), and ASM Advanced WAF in an enterprise environment.
• Deep, demonstrable expertise in ASM policy building and tuning.
• Experience deploying and supporting F5 Virtual Editions on hypervisor and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency writing and troubleshooting iRules and LTM policies.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, and SSL/TLS.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience (preferred).
• Palo Alto Networks firewall experience including security policies, NAT, VPNs, App-ID, and Panorama (preferred).
• Palo Alto certification such as PCNSE (preferred).
• Experience with F5 automation using iControl REST, AS3, Ansible, or Terraform (preferred).
• Familiarity with web application security principles and the OWASP Top 10 (preferred).
• Experience deploying infrastructure in Microsoft Azure cloud environments (preferred).
• Current or previously held F5 certification, such as F5-CA or F5-CTS (preferred).
• Current or previously held Cisco networking certification, such as CCNA or CCNP (preferred).
