Senior Android Software Engineer, Firefly Growth & Monetization

What you'll do

• Own Firefly's Growth on Android by shaping requirements and turning AI capabilities into polished native features.
• Run and read A/B experiments to measure and iterate on funnel data for activation, retention, and revenue.
• Write clean, well-tested Kotlin code using Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and Clean architecture.
• Direct AI-assisted coding tools by critically evaluating and refactoring their output.
• Make scope and priority calls to balance development speed with codebase maintainability.
• Review code and mentor other engineers in a non-managerial leadership role.
• Maintain the Behance Android apps and internal SDKs as platform and product needs change.

What we're looking for

• 7–10 years of experience shipping customer-facing Android apps on Google Play.
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin and Java, ideally with Jetpack Compose.
• Proficiency in Modern Android Development practices including MVVM, Clean architecture, and Navigation.
• Ability to write clean, well-tested code with unit tests, Compose UI tests, and CI.
• Experience with product and UX instincts, specifically within design systems like Adobe Spectrum 2.
• Experience with growth or monetization systems such as paywalls, subscriptions, and A/B testing (preferred).
• Experience integrating SDKs into host or third-party applications (preferred).
• Expertise in multi-threading, memory management, performance profiling, accessibility, and localization (preferred).
