Senior Analytics Engineer, Health Operations (MSO) is a senior-level role focused on building analytical frameworks and measurement architectures for health operations. You will design production-grade data models, transformation pipelines, and KPI systems to translate complex clinical and operational datasets into actionable insights. The role involves developing end-to-end measurement plans for new health services, tracking metrics like adoption and patient experience, and creating executive-level visualizations to inform leadership decisions. Key technical requirements include advanced SQL proficiency, Python for data wrangling and automated workflows, and experience with tools such as Tableau or AWS QuickSight. You will operate within a healthcare management services organization, solving problems related to clinical program performance, care utilization, and operational efficiency. This position requires translating complex, ambiguous business problems into structured analytical frameworks while collaborating across cross-functional teams to improve health outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain production-grade data models and transformation pipelines for health operations and clinical data.
  • Design and govern analytical frameworks, KPI systems, and measurement infrastructure to make data actionable for clinical teams.
  • Conduct descriptive and diagnostic analyses on complex healthcare datasets to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Create end-to-end measurement plans for new service launches to track adoption, efficiency, and patient experience.
  • Build scalable data visualizations and executive-level reports using tools like Tableau or AWS QuickSight.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to ensure analytics solutions are structured as a reliable single source of truth.
  • Establish analytics standards and research modern data science methods to improve team technical capabilities.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Business, Healthcare, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in business insights or strategic analytics, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
  • Proven track record applying quantitative methods, statistical modeling, and financial analysis to evaluate product performance and operational workflows.
  • Ability to design end-to-end measurement frameworks, including metric definitions and calculation logic, for new initiatives.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with Python or equivalent for data wrangling and building automated analytical workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to build intuitive data visualizations and executive dashboards using tools like Tableau or AWS QuickSight.
  • Exceptional executive presence and storytelling skills to translate technical findings into narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in health operations, clinical programs, or modern data orchestration tools (preferred).
