Senior Analyst, Compliance Technology

What you'll do

• Build and maintain curated datasets and data models for transaction monitoring, KYC, and screening systems.
• Own data quality by implementing validation checks, lineage tracking, and documentation for audit-ready compliance outputs.
• Partner with engineering teams to close upstream data gaps and translate requirements into scalable data structures.
• Improve detection signal quality by reducing noise while maintaining sensitivity in compliance controls.
• Define success metrics and measurement frameworks for the effectiveness of compliance control systems.
• Build repeatable reporting pipelines for use by leadership, operations teams, and auditors.
• Develop automated workflows and pipelines using Python and SQL to improve operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data-heavy technical roles.
• Advanced SQL proficiency including complex transformations, performance tuning, and data quality checks.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data models using tools like dbt or Airflow.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, pipeline development, and data analysis.
• Ability to execute on ambiguous, cross-functional projects in regulated environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use generative AI responsibly to improve workflow efficiency and quality.
