Senior AI/ML Scientist, Cardiovascular AI

What you'll do

• Translate cardiovascular clinical workflows into AI/ML problem definitions, data strategies, and model requirements.
• Design and implement advanced deep learning architectures, foundation models, and vision-language models for cardiovascular imaging.
• Develop validation strategies ensuring statistical rigor, model robustness, and clinical relevance of AI outputs.
• Lead cross-functional efforts across data acquisition, annotation, and model development with clinical and engineering teams.
• Manage and prioritize multiple AI/ML initiatives across the cardiovascular product portfolio.
• Contribute to intellectual property, publications, and external collaborations in the cardiovascular AI space.
• Mentor junior team members and influence technical direction across various projects.
• Apply state-of-the-art research techniques to solve complex cardiovascular challenges.

What we're looking for

• A PhD (preferred) or MS in Computer Science, AI, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 5–10+ years of experience in AI/ML, including deep learning.
• Strong programming skills in Python using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow are required.
• Proven experience delivering AI/ML models in real-world or production environments is required.
• Experience working with complex datasets in medical imaging, cardiovascular data, or healthcare is required.
• Candidates should have a track record of contributing to publications, patents, or research collaborations.
• Preferred experience includes cardiovascular imaging modalities, time-series physiological data, and regulated environments like FDA.
