Senior Agentic Insights Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop conversational analytics agents linked to enterprise data platforms via Model Context Protocol or similar standards.
• Architect scheduled-push delivery mechanics for persona-based insights in Slack and Microsoft Teams.
• Implement an agent-output validation layer to catch hallucinations and incorrect results before they reach leadership.
• Transform grounded agent outputs into clear, actionable operational recommendations for portfolio owners and executives.
• Manage the CIO executive insights digest and link "at risk" statuses to specific, actionable recommendations.
• Apply data storytelling and UX expertise to frame insights for specific audiences to ensure rapid decision-making.
• Collaborate with data warehousing and AI teams to ensure uniformity in metric definitions and data certification.

What we're looking for

• 12+ years of experience in data/analytics engineering, BI development, or applied AI/ML engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience building production agentic AI workflows, including tool-calling, multi-step LLM orchestration, and MCP integrations.
• Direct experience with a modern lakehouse platform like Databricks, including catalog-governed tables and conversational analytics tooling.
• Experience building or integrating scheduled and event-driven delivery mechanisms into Slack, Microsoft Teams, or equivalent enterprise tools.
• Familiarity with enterprise program and portfolio management tools like Jira-based platforms.
• Experience replacing manual BI/reporting functions with agentic or automated alternatives (preferred).
• Applied use of prescriptive analytics techniques like trend detection, anomaly flagging, or forecasting (preferred).
