Senior Agentic Insights Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop conversational analytics agents tailored to IT portfolio and program data.
• Connect agents to enterprise data platforms using Model Context Protocol or similar open standards.
• Architect scheduled-push delivery mechanisms for persona-based insights in Slack and Microsoft Teams.
• Implement an agent-output validation layer to catch hallucinations before they reach leadership.
• Translate grounded agent outputs into clear, actionable operational recommendations for executives.
• Manage the CIO executive insights digest and planning reporting rhythms.
• Apply data storytelling and UX expertise to frame insights for specific leadership audiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure uniform metric definitions and data certification.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in data/analytics engineering, BI development, or applied AI/ML engineering.
• Hands-on experience building production agentic AI workflows including tool-calling, multi-step LLM orchestration, and MCP integrations.
• Experience with a modern lakehouse platform like Databricks, including catalog-governed tables and conversational analytics tooling.
• Ability to validate AI-generated answers against underlying data and convert data into practical business recommendations.
• Skill in writing for CIO or VP audiences to ensure clear communication of insights.
• Experience building or integrating scheduled and event-driven delivery mechanisms into Slack or Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with enterprise program and portfolio management tools like Jira-based platforms (preferred); experience with prescriptive analytics (preferred).
