What you'll do

  • Architect a codified source of truth for controls, policies, and framework mappings as version-controlled data.
  • Build automated pipelines for continuous controls monitoring to detect drift and misconfigurations in real-time.
  • Develop SQL-driven dashboards and reporting to transform raw risk data into actionable KPIs for leadership.
  • Conduct data-informed security and technology risk assessments to recommend and track mitigations.
  • Automate recurring operational tasks such as evidence collection, vendor reviews, and risk-register upkeep.
  • Embed compliance checks into the CI/CD flow using policy-as-code and AI-assisted workflows.
  • Develop machine-readable evidence systems to support continuous compliance and new market authorizations.

What we're looking for

  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with a track record of building API and webhook integrations.
  • Experience owning an internal tool or service end-to-end, including design, build, operation, and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, cloud-native security controls, and querying cloud, GitHub, and SaaS logs.
  • Experience building and operating continuous controls monitoring systems, including detection logic and automated remediation.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and policy-as-code (OPA/Rego, Sentinel) to embed compliance into CI/CD.
  • Working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001/27701, and NIST CSF/800-53 frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale agentic or AI-assisted workflows using tools like Claude or OpenAI.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (preferred).
