SCADA & Controls Engineer, Infrastructure & Utility (Starship)

What you'll do

• Design, build, operate, and maintain SCADA systems for Starbase's infrastructure.
• Manage control and automation upgrades to scale systems dynamically for production targets.
• Develop standardized automation for critical power and utility systems at Starbase.
• Design PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications in high-reliability environments.
• Create and update documentation for all Starbase SCADA systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of experience designing and working on automation and control systems.
• 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Experience designing/developing HMI applications with Ignition.
• Familiarity with industrial communications protocols: Modbus, DNP3, etc.
• Ability to analyze electrical one-line drawings and DC/AC schematics.
• Strong organizational skills for prioritizing and implementing solutions.
