Sales Specialist - Security | Microsoft Careers

What you'll do

• Manages senior-level business relationships to understand customer challenges and priorities.
• Identifies security opportunities by assessing customer needs and building solutions.
• Leads end-to-end Security conversations and evaluates opportunities for recommendations.
• Collaborates with partners to cross-sell and up-sell Microsoft Security products.
• Conducts business analysis to pursue high-potential customers and develop target lists.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of security-related sales or account management experience in industries like Healthcare, Government, Education.
• 4+ years of solution or services sales experience with a focus on Microsoft Security and Compliance products.
• Deep technical understanding of cloud security technologies including Threat protection, SIEM, Multi-Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management.
• Possession of relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SC-500, Azure AZ-900 is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft AI-based security offerings like Security Copilot, M365 Defender, XDR, Sentinel, or equivalent technologies from vendors like Prisma Cloud, Crowdstrike.
