Safety and Location Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect and implement new frameworks and daemons to power functionality for upcoming hardware products.
• Develop software for safety-critical environments and build robust test and verification pipelines.
• Define technical solutions and estimate the scope of work based on product requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software integration issues.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to add support for new software features.
• Design and debug multi-threaded and multi-process systems.

What we're looking for

• Strong software engineering skills including design, programming (C, C++, Python, Git), and debugging.
• Experience crafting APIs and broad experience in system design.
• Proficiency in software design paradigms, best practices, and development with Gen AI assisted and agentic workflows.
• Strong background in Computer Engineering with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience designing and debugging frameworks and multi-threaded / multi-process systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with basics of RF or location estimation technologies (preferred).
• Experience with Objective-C or Swift programming (preferred).
• Ability to communicate clearly and drive multiple projects across teams in a collaborative environment (preferred).
